Meet the Team

Dr. Jake Brown
Owner, Veterinarian
“I grew up on a cow-calf ranch in southwest Missouri, raising Charolais-cross cattle. As I grew up, I realized the impact a veterinarian can have on both the cattle and the people within an operation. This impact was the driving force behind my choice to become a veterinarian. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences in 2018, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Business Administration in 2022. After graduation, I worked in Verden, Oklahoma, for three years as a mixed-animal practitioner.”

Stacy Utter
Veterinary Assistant
“My name is Stacy Utter, and I have over 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant. I grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado, where my lifelong passion for animals first took root. That passion has driven my commitment to providing attentive, compassionate care to every patient, and I take pride in supporting both animals and the people who love them through every stage of care.
In 2021, I moved to Cement, Oklahoma, and in 2022, I began working at Verden Veterinary Clinic, where I continued to provide dedicated care and support to pets and their owners.
Outside of work, I enjoy hunting with my husband, team sorting and penning, and spending time with my family and grandkids. I also have a strong love for horses, which continues to inspire and energize me in both life and work.”

Zuleima Rodriguez
Veterinary Assistant
“My name is Zuleima Rodriguez, and I’m a veterinary assistant with over 5 years of experience, a genuine love for animals large and small, and a strong commitment to compassionate care. I grew up in DeQueen, Arkansas, where strong community values shaped both my work ethic and appreciation for animal well-being. After graduating with my associate’s degree in Animal Science, I moved to Northwest Oklahoma, where I have continued to work as a veterinary assistant.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, fishing, traveling, and attending concerts.”
