Meet the Team

Dr. Jake Brown

Owner, Veterinarian

“I grew up on a cow-calf ranch in southwest Missouri, raising Charolais-cross cattle. As I grew up, I realized the impact a veterinarian can have on both the cattle and the people within an operation. This impact was the driving force behind my choice to become a veterinarian. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences in 2018, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Business Administration in 2022. After graduation, I worked in Verden, Oklahoma, for three years as a mixed-animal practitioner.”

Stacy Utter

Veterinary Assistant

“My name is Stacy Utter, and I have over 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant. I grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado, where my lifelong passion for animals first took root. That passion has driven my commitment to providing attentive, compassionate care to every patient, and I take pride in supporting both animals and the people who love them through every stage of care.

In 2021, I moved to Cement, Oklahoma, and in 2022, I began working at Verden Veterinary Clinic, where I continued to provide dedicated care and support to pets and their owners.
Outside of work, I enjoy hunting with my husband, team sorting and penning, and spending time with my family and grandkids. I also have a strong love for horses, which continues to inspire and energize me in both life and work.”

Zuleima Rodriguez

Veterinary Assistant

“My name is Zuleima Rodriguez, and I’m a veterinary assistant with over 5 years of experience, a genuine love for animals large and small, and a strong commitment to compassionate care. I grew up in DeQueen, Arkansas, where strong community values shaped both my work ethic and appreciation for animal well-being. After graduating with my associate’s degree in Animal Science, I moved to Northwest Oklahoma, where I have continued to work as a veterinary assistant.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, fishing, traveling, and attending concerts.”

Receptionist Kari Fisher

Kari Fisher

Receptionist

“My name is Kari, and I am a receptionist at Bedrock Animal Clinic. I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and from the time I could walk, everyone knew I would end up working with animals in some way. My love for animals led me to the veterinary field, where I enjoy helping support the health and well-being of pets and their owners.

One of my favorite parts of my role is helping pets feel cared for while also helping their owners feel confident and supported. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the lake, quality time with my husband and son, and caring for my two black Labs and cat.”
